No fee to create a fundraiser

There’s no fee to start or manage your fundraiser. However, to help us operate safely and securely, one small transaction fee (2.9% + $0.30, which includes debit and credit charges) per donation is deducted.

This is deducted automatically from donations; the person receiving funds will receive all funds raised minus these transaction fees.

What is a transaction fee?

The transaction fee covers the costs of credit and debit charges, safely delivering donations, and helps us offer more ways to donate—through credit, debit, Venmo, and PayPal. This is the only fee deducted on fundtails to cover all your fundraising needs.

Voluntary tipping by donors

Donors have the option to leave a voluntary tip for fundtails. By leaving a voluntary tip, you’re helping us to do more good in the world, and your generosity helps us provide a safe and secure experience for you and others in our community. Tipping is optional, and the tip amount can be changed to 0.
