Everybody who knows me knows how much I adore my cats, Whiskers and John. This is a fundraising page for my beloved and super smart cat, Whiskers. We’ve had Whiskers in our lives since he was a tiny ball of fur, and now he’s reached the grand old age of 7. We adopted Whiskers from a rescue shelter, and we’ve done everything we can to make sure he has a happy and fulfilling life.
 
But just a few weeks ago, he got a really tough diagnosis – Feline Injection-Site Sarcoma (FISS), which is one of the most aggressive types of tumors in cats. It’s growing really fast, and he needs a major surgery to remove about 5 centimeters of tissue (skin, bones, and even part of his shoulder blades) around the tumor. But before we can do that, he has to go through some rounds of chemotherapy to hopefully shrink the tumor or at least stop it from spreading more. After the surgery, he’ll need more chemotherapy.
 
The costs for these procedures are incredibly high, and that’s where we need your help, especially Whiskers. We’re facing a tough battle because these tumors are really hard to treat. But we’re not giving up on Whiskers, and we’re trying everything we can.
 
Let me tell you how much Whiskers means to us. He’s not just a cat; he’s family. When life gets rough, he’s the one who comforts us with his gentle purring and loving headbutts. His playful behavior always brings a smile to our faces, even on the darkest days. We’ve been through a lot together, and we can’t bear the thought of losing him.
 
We’re trying to raise $4,200 to cover the high medical costs for Whiskers’ surgery, chemotherapy, and aftercare. Any extra funds will go to help other cats in need at our local animal shelter, making sure more kitties can have a happy and healthy life.
