We’re Leah and Grace, and we’re reaching out with heavy hearts about our beloved cat, Phoebe. We live in a rental apartment, and recently, a terrible thing happened. Our landlord came over and left the window open. When we got back home, Phoebe was missing. We rushed downstairs and heard her meowing. We found her in the front yard of our building, crawling and hurt. She had fallen from the 10th story.
 
Phoebe survived the fall, but she’s badly injured. The fall caused severe injuries; her gallbladder might be ruptured, and her right hip is dislocated. She needs two surgeries and careful monitoring to have any chance of recovery.
 
Our landlord has refused to take responsibility or offer any help. We feel completely alone in this situation. With both of us being full-time students with part-time jobs, the medical bills are a huge burden. Despite this, we are determined to do everything possible to save Phoebe. The hospital has only given us an estimate for the costs, adding to the uncertainty and stress we’re experiencing.
 
This is why we’re asking for your help. Any support you can provide, whether through a donation, sharing our story, or sending your prayers, would mean the world to us. She deserves a chance to recover. All we want is a second chance.
 
It’s hard to see our other cat, Luna, looking for her friend. We want more than anything to bring Phoebe back home and see her healthy and happy again. But we need your support to make that happen.
 
We are aiming to raise $3,200 to cover Phoebe’s medical costs. This amount will help pay for her hospital stay, gallbladder surgery, and hip surgery. These treatments are vital for her to heal and get back on her feet.
