Hi, my name is Jenny, and I’m reaching out because I need help for my cat, Jasmine. We live together, and she’s my family. We’ve been through so much together, and right now she’s really sick. I’m afraid that without help, I won’t be able to give her the care she needs.
 
Since last month, Jasmine has been battling infectious peritonitis. It started with her dragging her back legs, and soon she couldn’t walk at all. I took her to the vet, and they began treatment right away. We were hopeful, but then Jasmine caught a bad respiratory infection, and things took a turn for the worse. For a while, I had to feed her with a syringe because she wouldn’t eat on her own. When she stopped eating altogether, I had to get her hospitalized.
 
She can’t walk, and she’s developed painful sores from lying down so much. The vet says that if we continue with her current GS treatment, she has a really good chance of recovering, but it’s expensive.
 
I’m a part-time worker and a student, so I don’t have the financial means to cover all of her medical expenses on my own. So far, the bills have gone over $3000, and they keep adding up. I’m doing everything I can.
 
I’m terrified of losing Jasmine, not because she can’t get better, but because I can’t afford her care. The vet believes she has a high chance of recovering if we keep going, and I’m trying my best to make that happen. But I need help to continue.
