In a poorly lit corner of a busy city parking lot, I stumbled upon a small, injured cat. She looked frail, her eyes showing pain and loneliness. I named her Arya, inspired by a character from Game of Thrones, sensing a similar spirit in her.
 
Arya’s story started with a mysterious tragedy, evident from the scars in her eyes. The vet confirmed she had an eye infection and Keratitis, risking her sight.
 
Yet, amidst the despair, a glimmer of hope emerged. As treatment began, Arya’s suffering lessened, and her trust in humans slowly blossomed. However, the road to recovery loomed long and arduous, filled with challenges beyond our capabilities alone.
 
Arya’s journey ahead requires more than I can offer. She needs surgery and ongoing care to fully heal, to dispel the shadows threatening to engulf her world. I yearn to provide her with a home brimming with love and comfort, to stand by her side as she navigates this difficult path.
