Hi there, friends! My name is Aiko, and I’m a sweet and loving dog with a big heart. I live with my mom, Rosalva, who’s been by my side through thick and thin.
 
Unfortunately, I haven’t been feeling my best lately. A few weeks ago, I got a bad wound that just wouldn’t heal. We tried everything to fix it, but the wound kept getting worse. Finally, the vet told my mom that they needed to amputate my right leg to stop the infection from spreading and hurting me even more.
 
My mom was heartbroken, but she knew it was the best thing for me. The surgery will cost a lot, though – around $6,000!! We’re trying our best to find a way to pay for it all, but we could really use your help
