Meet Trombone, my troublemaker feline companion. I rescued her when she was just a 2-month-old ball of curiosity wandering the streets. Since then, she’s been my constant companion, offering solace during studies and comfort during sickness. She’s been the unwavering support that words can’t fully capture.
 
Despite providing her with the best care, fate threw us a curveball in the form of cancer. Unforeseen and heart-wrenching, it has turned our world upside down.
 
In February 2023, I discovered small tumors on her breasts, leading us to the vet’s office. Four surgeries later, but with numerous medications in between, the battle persists. The latest surgery took an entire muscle, the biceps, from her front underarm, casting uncertainty on her ability to walk again. As we await biopsy results and prepare for chemotherapy, the financial burden has become overwhelming.
 
She is my only friend, and I don’t know how to live without her…
 
As a part-time worker, the costs have already surpassed my earnings, and the impending chemotherapy expenses are beyond my means. I find myself in the difficult position of seeking help, not for luxuries but for Trombone’s chance at life.
